BEFORE YOU LOAD

What happens when an external game loads

Why the portal waits for an explicit choice before contacting a game provider, and which controls remain outside Playfield.

Browsing is not loading

The catalogue and preview cards use local page assets. They do not create a provider iframe just because a card is visible. Choosing Load is a separate action because the provider may receive a request, use storage, show advertising, or present its own privacy choices.

The acknowledgement on an external game page explains that boundary. It is not a certified advertising consent signal and does not replace the provider’s own choices or any consent-management requirement that applies to the public launch.

What Playfield controls

The portal controls whether the iframe is created, its visible shell, Close, Reload, Fullscreen, and the fallback message. Closing removes the live frame from the page and returns focus to the shell.

The provider controls the game’s internal rules, audio, ads, cookies, analytics, links, multiplayer behaviour, and any save system inside the frame. We do not remove, cover, relabel, or imitate those elements.

Choosing an original instead

If you do not want to contact a provider, the page keeps a link to Playfield originals. Those games run locally and explain their own storage and sound behaviour in the privacy notice.
